Beam Bridge

• Horizontal beams supported at each end by an
  anchor not very strong, cant be too long

Cantilever Bridge

• Supported at each end by an anchor built like a
  beam bridge but supported at either end by cables
  to help with strength

Arched Bridge

• Has anchors at the ends, the weight of the bridge
  spreads to the anchors

Suspension Bridge

• This bridge is held up by a series of cables that
  hold it in mid-air attached to towers or poles
  for strength

Moveable Bridge

• Has a division (split) in the middle that
  allows things like ships to pass under needs a
  motor and system of pulleys and gears to work

Double Decker Bridge

• Has two layers of bridges stacked one is often
  used for traffic on top and transit (train or
  buses) underneath
