What do we do?

• The Service Equality Team
• Is responsible for developing and co-ordinating
  the Trusts Equality and Diversity strategies
• Advising and supporting the clinical divisions
  and corporate services on the service delivery
  aspects of Equality and Diversity
• Are responsible for supporting the Trust in
  implementing the Action for Equality -The Trust
  Equality Diversity Framework

• Lead on the implementation of the Trusts
  Equality Schemes, including
• Race Equality Scheme
• Disability Scheme
• Gender Equality Scheme
• Support each Clinical Division to meet their
  responsibilities as set out within these Schemes

  clinical divisions in the area of Equality
  Diversity
• Co-ordinate the Trusts Equality Strategies
• Provide Strategic support to the Human Resources
  Directorate
• Manage the Trusts Equality Diversity Planning
  Process, including
• Support in the production of Equality Diversity
  Action Plans
