• For a positive feedback system, the sum of the
  angles from the poles of the open loop (OL)
  system minus the sum of the angle from the zeros
  of the system will be equal to zero. All of the
  other rules for plotting the root-locus will need
  to be modified according to above rule, for
  example
• On the real line everywhere than has an even
  number of poles plus zeros of the OL system to
  its right will be on the root-locus.
