Percy is attacked by math teacher Mrs. Dodds who
is a Furry.

After being attacked by several more creatures,
Percy goes to Camp Half-Blood which is the camp
for the half blood gods.

There he finds out the he is the son of Poseidon
and why he was attacked by many creatures. He is
accused of stealing Zeus Lightning Bolt.

Percy takes on more monsters on his quest to
retrieve the bolt. He faces Madusa, and is
attacked on the Gateway Arch, and goes to the
underworld.

Finally getting the bolt, Percy has to go to
Mount. Olympus. The only way to get there is the
Empire State Building on the 600th floor.

Once Percy gets to Mount Olympus he gives the
bolt back to Zeus and gets to see his father for
the first time in 12 years.
