    what they are saying.
  • How to Do It Restate what the speaker says using
    different words.

    seriously about what is being said take time to
    think longer and harder and maybe catch something

    effort to listen
  • 2. Show honest interest by nodding your head and
    saying I get it.
  • 3. Let the speaker talk. Interruptions should
    only be made to make sure you understand what the
    other person is saying.

    words the speaker is using.
  • 5. Let the speaker finish his entire
    communication.
