Course Instruction Content

The Peregrine Advantage
Instructors and workshop facilitators have
extensive practical experience in leadership,
management, and employee relations. We teach
the theories, demonstrate the principles through
case study and historical examples, and then we
show participants how to apply the knowledge in
the current work environments. Our emphasis is on
the practical application of course concepts.
14
Typical Program Format
  • Agenda, Purpose, Desired Endstate determined
with the client prior to each workshop and
    training session.
  • Historical and contemporary examples designed to
illustrate concepts, provide a common frame of
reference, and stimulate discussion and workshop
    participation.
  • Program focus is on the application of the course
material to the current work environment.
  • Extensive use of local resources and material to
provide immediate relevancy for the program.
  • Participants receive all of the course materials.
  • We demonstrate continuous improvement by
conducting an After Action Review at the end of
    each training session.

15
Recommended Attendance
  • Group size depends on the program. Key to all of
    our workshops is group participation,
interaction, and discussion in order to create an
    effective adult learning environment.
  • Leadership courses 6-20 participants
  • Training sessions 10-40 participants
  • Group composition also depends on the nature of
the workshop. For leadership courses, it is best
if no more than 2 organizational levels
represented, otherwise it tends to stifle
    participation.
  • For other training programs, group composition is
    less critical.
