Italy attracts millions of tourists every year
because of its spectacular scenery, beautiful
weather, and fascinating history and
culture. Rome in central-western Italy is the
capital. Over 2.7 million people live in Rome.
  • About 3.5 million people live in the capital city
    of Berlin. It is located in northeastern Germany.

  • Germany is located in Western and Central Europe.

Italy is located in Southern Europe and comprises
the boot-shaped Italian Peninsula and a number of
islands including the two largest, Sicily and
Sardinia.

The climate in Italy is moderate with generally
cool winters, colder in the mountain regions, and
warm summers. Mountains cover about 70 percent
of the country.
  • Germany has a moderate climate with warm, mild
    summers and cool winters. Extreme weather
