  • For bellwork today, you will be labeling a blank
    map of our next region of study. Europe!
  • Unit 2 is the study of the Middle Ages
    (Medieval), which focuses on achievements of
    Europe, so its important you understand the
    geography of the region.
  • Label all 38 countries.
  • Use pgs. A12-13 in your textbook
  • Do NOT need to include islands or cities..only
    independent countries!
  • Your map quiz over Europe will be on Friday!!!

  • When studying world history, it is important to
    study world religions.
  • Many countries history, government, and culture
    originated from their religion.
  • We will be studying these religions from a
    historical perspective.
  • The five most popular religions around the world
  • Christianity - Hinduism
  • Judaism - Islam
  • Buddhism

World Religions Graphic Organizer
  • To learn more about the five most popular world
    religions, you are going to complete a graphic
    organizer.
  • We will complete Judaism Christianity together.
  • Then, you will be broken into groups of three.
    Once in your group, number off 1-3.
  • Each group member will be responsible for a
    different religion.
  • Next, you will independently complete your own
    section.
  • Once everyone is done, your group will come back
    together and you will teach the rest of your
    group about your religion.
  • As you teach, they will fill in the rest of the
    worksheet.
  • Make sure you understand your religion since you
    will be the only one teaching it in your group.
