Yes, You can!
  • God has made provision for His people to be
successful, He created them at His own
    resemblance.
  • God can do all, man can also do all if he abides
in God and obey Him. Jos.18-10.
  • God has put in human beings all the resources
that can be used to succeed.
  • Man has to identify them and put them to work

3
Success, prerequisite to service
  • 3 John 2.
  • You only give what you have
  • You cant serve without being successful
  • Success should cover all aspects of all life
  • Physical, mental, intellectual, spiritual,
    social, emotional, psychological, environmental,
    economical success
  • Success predisposes to service

4
Success and Fear of God
  • The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom
  • The fear of God is the beginning of intelligence
  • Growing in connection with Jesus (Jn.15)

5
You Were Created by God for Successful Living
  • God is the Most successful Being
  • God created you in His image (Gen.126-31).
  • Sin came to destroy Gods plan for your success.
  • God redeemed you from the beginning( Gen.321).
  • Ps.145
  • Ps.144.

6
Success starts from within
  • We become what we want to be
  • We are what we think about
  • We are what we hope for
  • We are what we wish to be
  • We are the designers of our success
  • We are makers of our destiny
  • God is ready to give us his hand of help.

7
Your enemy, Yourself
  • Dont always listen to yourself
  • Most time, you like to yourself
  • Build up your self-esteem
  • Love yourself, no one can do it better
  • Trust Gods destiny of success for you
  • Fight negative feelings and thoughts
  • Never be satisfied for yourself
  • Fight against yourself and win

8
Fly like an Eagle
  • Aim high and Trust yourself
  • Value your dreams
  • Liberate yourself from mediocrity
  • Aim to excellence
  • Forgive yourself
  • Remember some of your successes
  • Submit to God and trust Him, He will set you
    high.
  • Fly like an eagle, with power and determination

9
No Limitation For Those Who Love God.
  • Always the head, never the tail Deut. 28
  • Provision for successPs.11-3 Prov.31-8.
  • Gods plan for your success Jer.2911.
  • Nothing can stop you from succeeding Is.431-3.
  • Even hardship is a way to success Heb.12 4-12.
  • Success is always possible when you follow Gods
    guidance Josh.13-9.
  • The answer to your future lies outside the
confines that you have right now.
  • Dont be limited by the standards.

10
Step Out of The Pattern
  • Refuse the natural limitations disability,
    deficiencies, handicapsHelen Keller, a blind
    woman
  • Moses is an example
  • A Greek orator Demosthenes a stammerer,
    stutterer.
  • When a man has put limit on what he can do, he
will not do what he could do.
  • Most people could do more than what they think
    they can do.
  • You cant make a place for yourself in the sun if
you only live under the family tree.
  • Go, launch out! Be involved in something bigger
    than you. Do more.

11
Think Big, Life is Too Short
  • Life is too short to think small, says John
    Mason.
  • Take the best out of life, youll live for ever.
  • Limits are in your thoughts, not in reality.
  • Decolonize your thoughts and get rid of your
    negative feelings.
  • Tell yourself and believe in this Everything is
possible never use the word never.

12
Try to do, Youll do what You Try
  • There is nothing bad in trying to do something.
  • Dont fear to try.
  • You never know what you can do until you try to
do it. Dont fear change, it is called
    innovation.
  • Dont be too moderate.
  • Dont let moderation be mistaken with humility.
  • Moderation is a fatal thing, says Oscar Wilde.
  • Nothing succeeds like excess.
  • Try and persist, you will succeed. Be stubborn,
    obsessed with success.

13
Value Your Dreams
  • You deserve to dream about big things.
  • Never think that something cannot be done.
  • God may have been waiting for centuries for
somebody ignorant enough of the impossible to do
    that thing ( Mason).
  • If you devalue your dreams, no one else will
    raise their price.
  • Enjoy dreaming your dreams.

14
Dont Be Too Realistic
  • Reality is always scary.
  • Dont be timid in the front of reality.
  • Face reality and fight it with dream and
    imagination.
  • Imagination is a fruit of possibility and
    potentiality.
  • Great leaders are rarely realistic.
  • Inventors are always Unrealistic.
  • If you are a realistic person in everything you
do, your focus is only on the immediate,
measurable moment. Thinking this way limits you
and restricts you in considering the unlimited
possibilities of the future. God, your example,
    is unrealistic.

15
Set A Goal and Fight to Achieve it
  • Set a goal and pursue its accomplishment.
  • Set an unachievable goal, go where nobody ever
went. Venture away from the obvious.
  • An achievable goal limits your opportunities to
    do more for humanity.
  • Be a history maker and world shaker.
  • It can be done, even though it was never done
    before.
  • I may be the one that it has been waiting for.

16
Higher Will Always Be The Best
  • The best fruit is in the highest, the tallest
    tree.
  • Climb as high as possible.
  • Dag Hammarskjold said Is life so wretched? Is
it rather your hands which are too small, your
vision which is muddled? You are the one who must
    grow up.
  • Fly like an eagle, as high as possible
  • When you are up there, you have a better view of
everything. You master them because they become
    small to your sight.
  • Daniel Webster says, There is always room at the
    top.
  • No one can predict to what height you can soar.
Even you will not know until you spread wings. (
    Mason).
  • Fences were made for those who cant fly.

17
Big Difficulties, Big Ways
  • There are difficult things to do, there are also
    many ways to do them.
  • Life is full of rich possibilities to have
    restrictions placed upon it.
  • When you believe something is impossible you make
    it so.
  • Small thinking has made many fantastic projects
    to miscarriage.
  • The bigger you think, the more realization
    resources you get.
  • Mighty ideas have been strangled by cowardly
    imagination.

18
Impossible Is A Foolish word
  • Mirabeau said Never let me hear that foolish
    word again, talking about Impossible.
  • With God everything is possible.
  • Pearl Buck said All things are possible until
they are proved impossible-even the impossible
may only be so as of now.
  • Someone is always able to do what somebody else
    said it was impossible.
  • Dare to think the unthinkable thoughts, theyll
    come to happen.

19
Think Differently, Not Commonly
  • Mason says, develop an infinite capacity to
ignore what others think cant be done. Dont
just grow where you are planted. Bloom where you
    are planted and bear fruit.
  • Ordinary thoughts produce ordinary things and
    nothing new and different.
  • Think differently and accomplish different and
    useful things.
  • You only become a winner if you are willing to
    walk over the edge.
  • Take the lid off. Go out on the limbthats where
    the fruit is. (Mason)

20
There Is More Joy
  • More accomplishment, more joy.
  • The more you accomplish, the more useful you
    become.
  • Spirella says,
  • There is no thrill in easy sailing when skies
are clear and blue. There is no joy in merely
doing things which any man can do. But there is
some satisfaction that might be sweet to take,
when you reach a destination that you thought you
    would never make.

21
The Most Dangerous Thing
  • Too much caution kills destiny.
  • Dont test your destiny cautiously.
  • Dont play safety, it is the most dangerous thing
    in the world (Hugh Walpole).
  • Forfeit the safety of what we are for what we
    could become.
  • If you want to grow, do beyond what you have
    already done.
  • Pick an obstacle big enough to matter when you
    overcome it.
  • An over-cautious person burns bridges of
opportunities before he or she gets to them.
  • Security is mostly a superstition. It does not
exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a
    whole experience it.
  • Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than
    outright exposure.
  • Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing
    (Helen Keller)

22
The Most Dangerous place
  • The most dangerous place is in the middle of the
    road.
  • Being indecisive destroys plans and decisions
  • The most miserable people in the world are those
who can never make a decision.
  • Nothing great was done without a decision.
  • There is nothing in the middle of the road but
yellow stripes and dead armadillos (J.Hilltower)
  • We should choose the course which well follow.
The double-minded man is unstable in all his
    ways, says the Bible.
  • Dont be like a wheelbarrow, trailer or canoe,
they need to be pushed or pulled or paddled to
    get anywhere.

23
Decide now and here
  • Every human mind is a great slumbering power
given him by God (Edgar Roberts).
  • Decide to do something now to make your life
    better.
  • If you have the will to win, you have achieved
half your success, if you dont, you have
    achieved your failure.
  • There is difference between thinking and
deciding. Decision accepts no excuses, only
    results. Decision makes things happen.

24
Deal with criticism
  • We are all critic able, we are all sinners
  • Use introspection to assess criticism
  • Criticism ringing the bell.
  • Negative criticism is meant to crush you
  • Dont let yourself be crushed by anything
  • Use criticism to get out of your situation
  • Le chien aboie, mais la caravane passe
  • Be propelled, not pulled by criticism.

25
Pay attention to the Enemys strategy
  • They want to quick you of the place
  • They use crooked methods
  • Be patient with yourself
  • Be patient with them
  • Pay attention to their strategy, it may help you
to get out of your situation
  • The story of a donkey

26
No Boundaries
  • Get out of your comfort zone.
  • Listen to this Know rules, then break some.
Take the limits off. Dont accept good enough as
good enough. Tolerating mediocrity in others
    makes you mediocre says Mason.
  • Go beyond the boundaries, the boundaries will
know you. They will definitely move in order to
allow you more space to maneuver
  • The men who build the future are those who know
that greater things are yet to come, and that
they themselves will help bring them about.
  • Their minds are illuminated by the blazing sun of
    hope
  • They never stop doubt, they have no time.

27
Dont let yourself be intimidated by Failure
  • Failure is a normal process in life
  • If you have never failed, you are magical
  • Failure is an inseparable friend
  • Failure is a good teacher
  • Start all over again, as many times as possible
    until you are there.
  • Il faut reculer pour mieux sauter.
  • Respect failure, failure will respect you
  • Dont ever be intimidated by failure
  • Take everything good out of failure

28
Failing Forward
  • Failure brings back those who surrender to it.
Fences were made for those who cannot fly
  • Dont be intimidated by failure
  • Failure creates inertia, dont compromise with
    it.
  • Keep going, keep trying, keep trusting in God and
    yourself for success.
  • Fail forward, never backward.

29
Dont pity yourself
  • Self-pity is lack of self-esteem
  • No one will pity you because you are pitying
    yourself
  • People will never respect you if you pity
    yourself
  • Be strong, face your destiny with courage
  • Only cowards pity themselves
  • Hardship is always an option, face it with
    boldness and daring

30
Dont only harvest, sow as well
  • Some people reap what they havent sown. They eat
    what they havent worked for.
  • Most people who sit around and wait for the
    harvest havent planted anything.
  • The average person doesnt want much and usually
    gets even less.
  • Until you give yourself to some great cause, you
havent really begun to fully live.
  • Let others reap what you have sown, that is the
    sense of humanity.

31
You are still alive
  • If you are still alive, everything is possible
  • A living dog is better than a dead lion
  • Never get discouraged
  • Tell yourself you are not the first
  • But dont be the last to change
  • Be determined to succeed, fight for it
  • Life is short, use every opportunity.
  • Press on, toil, believe that you are almost
    there.
  • Die satisfied.

32
Hesitation
  • Hesitation is a result of doubt
  • Doubt is a friend to failure
  • Doubt demobilizes
  • Hesitation is motivated by fear
  • Fear is lack of faith and self-esteem
  • Courage triumphs hesitation and fear.
  • Faith mobilizes courage and determination

33
Recognition, a disaster
  • People always seek for recognition
  • Praise and recognition kill the spirit of strive
  • Work to reach your set goals, not to please
    anybody
  • Dont wait for recognition, you may be
    disappointed
  • Few are happy when you succeed

34
Choice Big factors in Success
  • Choose your God and your religion
  • Choose your values, standards and principles
  • Choose your career, choose your priority
  • Choose your goals and objectives
  • Choose your standards and principles
  • Choose your associations
  • Work your talk

35
Discipline a determinant factor
  • Success depends on how serious you are about
    attaining it.
  • Disorganized life leads to disorganized results
  • Discipline and consistency in what you do will
    always lead you to success.
  • High values and standards coupled with
discipline, integrity and commitment will result
    into great accomplishment
