• Protocols include the Basic Question Set to
  Determine the Extent and Adequacy of an IM
  Program
• Initial Protocols Developed from Region and
  Limited Industry Input
• Further Development by Testing on Pilot Companies
• Additional Input from Inspection Results

• Volunteer Companies Four have been Identified
• Inspection Results will furnish Additional Input
  for Modifying the Protocols (Quick Hit and IM
  Inspection)
• Protocols are not Complete and will be Subject to
  Modification for the Time Being

  the Basis for IM Training for Regions and States
• Furnished to Industry Prior to Inspection
• Protocols will be Utilized by OPS with the Use of
  Internal Review Guidance
