  • Report cards are issued every 9 weeks.
  • Mandatory 6 grades taken per subject, per 9 weeks
  • Kindergarten does not issue progress reports.

Our Reading and Writing Goals
  • Children can identify capital and lowercase
    letters and their sounds
  • Children can use those sounds to write words and
    sentences
  • Children can use those sounds to sound out words
  • Our goal is for your child to be READING books by
    the end of kindergarten

Rules to Remember
  • Clothing must be in dress code.
  • Girls no spaghetti straps or short shorts
  • Please have girls wear shorts under their dress
  • Medications go to nurse, not teacher children
    may not carry medicine this includes cough drops
  • Please dont let your child bring toys or jewelry

Attendance
  • Each day your child is here on time, they get a
    sticker for their chart. ?
  • Send notes for EVERY absence
  • 15 or more unexcused absences can result in
    retention
  • Tardies will affect conduct grade
  • Early pick-up must get office to sign out
  • For transportation changes - give notice to
    teacher AND office

  • Please send a written note
  • OR call the office and notify of any changes.
  • Your child must have a written note to go home a
    different way.

Homework
  • 1 page each night letter practice over letters
    taught the previous week
  • Approximately 4 pages a week
  • Homework folders are red and should be returned
    on Thursday with word banks.
  • Homework will be sent home on Monday with new
    words in word banks.
  • Word banks may be returned early for new words.

  • All pages completed on THURSDAY and word bank
    returned E
  • Pages complete no word bank S
  • 2 Pages complete N
  • No homework returned U

Tuesday Folders
  • Please remove everything from the yellow Tuesday
    folder and return any school forms.
  • Sign the bottom of the paper stapled in the
    folder and return Wednesday.

Birthday Snack
  • Food may not be brought from home to pass out to
    children.
  • If you would like to order a birthday treat to be
    passed out at your childs lunch, please contact
    the cafeteria.
  • A cookie or ice cream is available for purchase.

  • Every other Tuesday is College Shirt Day
  • Children and Teachers may wear their favorite
    college shirt or college colors
