• My name is Edit Megyeri. I am 15, I come from
  Békéscsaba, from Hungary.

• Békéscsaba is situated in the South-Eastern part
  of Hungary. I live in the suburb, Gerla which is
  famous for the Wenckheim-family.

• In Békéscsaba Slovak and Hungarian people live
  together in peace for hundred years.

• The famous painter, Mihály Munkácsy lived and
  worked in Békéscsaba for a long time.

• Next to Békéscsaba, there is a town, Gyula, which
  is famous for its spa and a historical castle
  made of bricks.

• Ferenc Erkel, the famous Hungarian musician,
  author of the tune of the Hungarian anthem, was
  born in Gyula.

• Both cities mentioned before are situated in the
  Hungarian Great Plain.
• Not far away from our cities you can find Szeged,
  on the bank of the River Tisza.

• Albert Szent-györgyi worked for a long time at
  the University of Szeged. He was awarded the
  Nobel Prize in 1937 for his discovering vitamin C.

• All this was just an introduction of my hometown
  and its close surroundings. Hungary is expecting
