• The student will learn to distinguish normal from
  abnormal findings and make appropriate referrals
  addressing the deviations.
• Emphasis is placed on assessment as a part of the
  nursing process, health histories, the
  problem-oriented system, self-care and health
  promotion, and the holistic approach to the
  patient.
