How did we come about?

• Set up in 2005 after the establishment of the
  Scottish Personality Disorder Network
• Aim of the group was to develop a care pathway to
  ensure that clients with a diagnosis of
  personality disorder get the best available
  treatment with existing resources.

• 2006
• Audit by Allyson Turnbull
• Snapshot of the number of people with PD using
  the service
• Results 309 people, 1 in 4 of the total client
  population
• Many seen by more than one branch of the service,
  in extreme cases by up to five.

• Aim to build maps of pathways through mental
