• Born- 624 B.C.
• Died- at age78 in around 547 B.C.
• Came from a distinguished family

  Mathematics and science.
• He was also the first Greek Mathematician.
• He created five theorems of basic geometry.
• At first they were very difficult to use but as
  people got used to using them they got easier.
