  • GREs of at least 450 V and 450 Q

  • Must maintain a B average in your first semester
  • Not eligible for graduate assistantship (until
    you are regular status)

Graduate Assistantships

  • to train doctoral-level professional
    psychologists to practice psychotherapy and
    assessment skills in the underserved rural areas
    of Georgia.
  • Applied, professional focus
  • Graduates will work in applied, service-oriented
    positions where they work directly with clients,
    as well as supervise and train other
    professionals.

  • program is five-years, full-time, day-time
  • requires enrollment during each summer of their
    time in the program
  • students spend the first four years in residence
    at the University and the fifth in a full-time
    (2000 hour) internship
  • curriculum follows the "Guidelines and Principles

    Psychology" set forth by the American
    Psychological Association (APA)
