Accelerated Reader (AR)
  • Students took STAR test and were given ZPD
  • ZPD tells them the level of books they need to
    check out
  • Make sure you sign their reading logs (available
    on my website under language arts)
  • Once they finish the book, they can take a test
    in my class or the library ONLY if they have a
    signed log
  • Receive points for percentage they got correct
  • Students who arent on track to obtain goal will
    be put on a Weekly Reading Log.

Assignment Policy
  • Formative late assignments will not receive
    credit!
  • If your child is absent then they can make up the
    assignments that they missed. It is their
    responsibility to check the Absent Binder or my
    website to find out what they missed.

Online Gradebook and Renaissance Home connect (AR)
  • Gradebook Username Student ID (6-digits)
    Password Student's Birthday (March 5, 1997 would
    be 3/5/1997) Must include forward slashes. You
    can also sign up to receive emails showing your
    child's grades!!
  • To check how many AR points your child currently
    has. Username is their ID number and Password is
    2013. You can also sign up to receive emails
    showing your child's quiz or test results!!
  • Both websites are listed under my links section
    of my website

GRADEBOOK FAQ
  • What does a Z mean in my childs grades?
  • It means the assignment wasnt turned in,
    completed, or your child did not write their name
    on it. Have student check the no-name box.
  • What does a X mean in my childs grades?
  • It means that your child is excused from that
    assignment and it will not affect their grade.

  • If you are interested in receiving class updates,
    reminders, and important deadlines on your cell
