• 1) Contribute to the on-line course on
  competencies that will be offered on the
  Educational Portal of the Americas in 2005,
  through UDSE/OAS

• 2) Request from the UDSE the design of a
  questionnaire to support the project, using as a
  model the Questionnaire on Dissemination of
  Educational Information, for the compilation and
  systematization of pertinent national
  information that will support the work of the
  specialists.

• 3) To approve the modifications made to the log
  frame and cronogram of the hemispheric project
  during the First Meeting of Sub Regional
  Coordinators, in order to harmonize the
  documents presented to the national coordinators.
  A copy of all documents will be sent to the UDSE
  and the AICD.

• 4) Invite the hemispheric network to implement
  activities 1.4 and 1.5, of the component School
  Management Model, according to the guidelines
  contained in annex 1, developed in the 1st
  Hemispheric meeting.

• 5) Approve the proposed calendar contained in
  Annex II, that contains the activities of the
  project and related events.

• 6) The proposed date for the 2nd Hemispheric
  Meeting is the 23th-24th of November, 2004 in
  Cancun Mexico

• 7) Validate the attributions of the technical
  coordinator, which are
• To offer technical support for the implementation
  of the project
• To contribute to the hemispheric project the
  experience of the Program for the Modernization
  of Technical Education and Training in Mexico
  (PMETyC)
• To develop jointly with the hemispheric
  coordinator the official reports
• Coordinate with the OAS (UDSE-AICD) and and the
  Hemispheric Coordinator the establishment of
  strategic alliances with potential donors and
  collaborating organizations in order support the
  project.
• To facilitate technical assistance to the other
  sub regions
