  • A C.V, curriculum Vitae, often called a career
    history or literally course of life is a resume
    of a persons qualifications, training, skills
    and experience.

    gives them a general idea about whether the
    applicant is suitable for the job or not whether
    to convene applicant for interview or not.

Hints on filling a C.V.
  • 1. Prepare a personalised C.V paying attention to
    its structure and clarity.
  • 2. Lay emphasis on positive points about yourself
  • 3. Avoid negative points.
  • 4. Write simple sentences, easy to understand and
    avoid scratches.

  • 5. Do not give too many details, but issues that
    fit the job applied for.
  • 6. Avoid false information - remember, the
    information supplied by you can be confirmed with
    relevant authorities or previous employers.
  • 7.Use white non-transparent paper - preferably
    A4. Leave enough space between lines.

    required, e.g supervising 15 operators.

  • (1) The referees should not be relatives
  • (2) Obtain permission from the persons before
    submitting their names
  • (3) Ideally you can submit the name of a person
    from an establishment in which you have worked
    previously for reference on work performance and
    a member of the staff of the college you attended
    for reference on your character.

    telephone number of the referees.
