How to use a claw hammer

Correct Procedure
  • Hold the nail straight at a 90-degree angle.
  • Grip the handle of the hammer with the end of the
    handle even with the lower edge of your palm
  • Position the face of the hammer on the nail
  • Set the nail firmly so it will not fly out
  • Raise the hammer 18 to 20 inches high and strike
    the nail with steady, even blows.

Using The Spirit Level

    surface is level.
