    energy on developing the new habit, which
    eventually will replace the old.
  • Life is a "do-it-to-myself program, and take the
    credit and the blame for my position.
  • Positive self-control is a self-management skill,
    which, when developed, puts you in control of
    your career and environment.

  • A motive is that which is within an individual
    which incites him or her to action.
  • Fear is the powerful negative motivator that
    restricts, tightens, panics, forces, and defeats.
  • Desire is the strong positive motivator that
    attracts, reaches, opens, directs, and encourages.
  • Our lives are controlled largely by the way we
    talk to ourselves, that is, by our self-talk.
  • Winners see the rewards of success in advance
    they do not fear the penalties of failure.
  • Losers express built-in excuses by saying "I
    can't" and "I have to" instead of "I can" and "I
    want to."

  • There is no such thing as a stress-free life. A
    life without stress would really be no life at

  • The single most outwardly identifiable trait of a
    winning human being is positive self-expectation,
    which is pure and simple optimism.
  • You may or may not get what you deserve in life,
    but you almost always get what you expect from
    life.

    nice home, good, friends, ,success, and good
    health.
  • Losers expect such occurrences as the loss of
    job, bankruptcy, a dull evening, bad service,
    failure, and ill health.
  • The study of psychosomatic medicine the
    relationship between the mind and the body and
    how each affects the other-indicates that the
    body manifests what the mind harbors.

    burning optimism. It is the elixir of life

    skill which can positively affect every situation.

  • Understanding your self-image is the key to
    understanding your behavior. When you change your
    self-image, your personality and behavior changes
    accordingly.
  • What you "see" is what you get. Who you "feel" is
    who you are.
  • Individuals behave according to their perceptions
    of reality, not according to actual reality. It
    is not what you "are" that holds you back It's
    "what you think you are not."
  • Each of us has developed a self-image concerning
    every talent, every characteristic, every
    performance.'
  • Your self-image dwells in the subconscious level
    of thinking.
  • The conscious level of thinking acts as a
    "judge," it collects information from. the
    environment, stores in the memory bank, and makes
    rational decisions.

  • You can program your own self image by imagining
