Heating and cooling system scheme
Active heating and passive and active cooling
enables flexibility and energy efficiency. Active
cooling is used only during peak demand when
passive cooling is insufficient. Passive cooling
is particularly interesting in the winter season
when the auditorium has to switch from the
heating- to cooling modus, and the rest of the
building must undergo a continuous heating.
Circulation pumps in the heating loop heat the
rest of the building, and the required heat is
consumed from the storage tank, whilst the
auditorium loop changes to the direct cooling
modus. After the end of event normal regime is
established.
