Public Improvements and Environmental Mitigation
  • Farmland  Payment of 292,050 to the Central
    Valley Farmland Trust

    the loss of wildlife habitat

  • 679,794.24 was paid to the County as a County
    Traffic Impact Mitigation fee
  • 1,229,196.93 was paid to the San Joaquin County
    Council of Government for regional transportation
    impacts
  • CDCR dedicated right of way easements for
    widening of Austin Road to the County and paid
    for the cost of paving the road-widening and
    signal at facility entry. CDCR will enter into an
    agreement with the County for the cost of
    installing and maintaining street lighting along
    Austin
  • Widening of SR 99 Arch Road off-ramp and signal
    onto Arch Road (725,000)

Public Improvements and Environmental Mitigation
  • San Joaquin General Hospital Medical Services and
    Secured Ward California Prison Health Care
    Services and CDCR entered into an eight-year
    contract with San Joaquin General Hospital for
    medical and related services and a 25-bed medical
    guarded unit (MGU). CDCR reimbursed the County
    for the construction cost 2,204,596.
  • AB 900 Community Impact Mitigation Funds CDCR
    distributed 1,387,200 in one-time payment of AB
    900 community mitigation funds. A payment of
    693,600 was divided between the City of Stockton
    and San Joaquin County and the other half was
    distributed to the San Joaquin Superintendent of
    Schools.
  • Fire Services Agreement CDCR entered into an
    agreement with Collegeville Fire District for
    fire services in the amount of 100,000/year
    starting in July 2011 with a 2.7 escalator for
    ten years.

Community Partnerships
  • Delta Community College
  • Agreement to expanding the accredited psychiatric
    technician program, by providing 1,350,000 for
    additional resources.
  • Will enroll 270 students over 3-4 years. The
    first class of 40 students graduated in December
    2011.
  • Health Careers Academy (HCA) High School in
    Stockton 
  • CDCR entered into an agreement to provide a total
    of 700,000 over four years to Stockton Unified
    School District (SUSD) and the Health Careers
    Academy (HCA) High School in Stockton to support
    this new high school.

  • Construction Impacts
  • Construction activities of the CHCF, Stockton
    will directly support over 756 million in output
    and nearly 5,500 jobs in the regional economy.
  • Operation Impacts
  • At full-capacity operations, CHCF, Stockton
  • would be one of the areas largest employers,
  • directly supporting nearly 2,800 jobs with
  • above-average salaries and benefits while
  • contributing over 676 million in output to
  • the regional economy.
