- Registration and/or approval is mandatory for pet
food plants according to - Regulation 183/2005
- Registration of all operators
- Approval if using vitamin A, vitamin D, copper,
selenium as such - Regulation 1069/2009
- Approval for pet food plants using animal
by-products.
84.2 Traceability requirements
- Documented system in place
- Samples and records of each batch shall be kept
- Records At least two years (Five years for GMOs)
- End product end of commercial life
- Rework shall be traceable
- Traceability system shall regularly reviewed and
tested -
