  • There is a generally accepted Serving Temperature
    for many drinks. The rules are
  • Bitters and Cider are enjoyed slightly cool
  • Indian beers mostly served very cold
  • Spirits are served at bar temperature and the
    temperature of the drink is adjusted by the
    guests choice of accompaniments such as ice,
    water, chilled cola, lemonade etc.
  • Cognac is served at bar temp and the guest may
    warm their drink by holding the glass in their
    hands.

  • Red wine is served at room temp but in Indian
    condition of hot and humid climate it gives the
    best result if served in between 15-17º C.
  • White and Rose wines are served chilled were as
    sparkling wines and champagnes well chilled
  • Where necessary a bottle of white or sparkling
    wine can be chilled in 20 minutes thats placed
    in an ice bucket filled with ice and water.
