The COASTS of Sardinia are generally rocky and
high.But there are also sandy and flat
coasts in the south of the island.

There arent high MOUNTAINS. The most
important massif is GENNARGENTU (about 1.834 m
s.l.m.)
The principal PLAINS are Campidano and La Nurra
in the north-west of the island

Sardinia hasnt got big RIVERS.The most
important are Tirso, Flumendosa and Coghinas.
There are lots of ARTIFICIAL LAKES.

Lots of smaller islands surround Sardinia
Asinara, Caprera, La Maddalena, San Pietro
and SantAntioco.

• The primary sector is very important
• goats and sheep rearing (good production of
  cheese).
• Agricolture brings vegetables, olive trees
• sardinan wines are very good and famous.
• Sardinia is famous for corks
• Still important is the MINING INDUSTRIES (coal,
  lead, zinc, gold.
• Other industrial activities are food, mechanical
  and chemical.
• Craft industry includes rugs, jewellery, textile,
  lacework , basket making, and coral.
• Butthe most important industry is TOURISM.
