• Each member in the group should have a copy of
  the student instructions and have pre-read them
  the day before.

• Add 3 µl of enzyme solution to each of the 5
  tubes containing DNA and labeled "C,1,2,3,4."
• Make sure to change the pipette tip after each
  addition.

• Place the tubes in a 37oC water bath for a
  minimum of 10 minutes.
• For optimal restriction action 30 minutes is
  needed.

• After incubation you have 2 options
• you can store the reaction overnight in the
  freezer and continue the next day with gel
  electrophoresis or
• go to gel electrophoresis and load, run, and
  stain the gels after class and view results the
  next day
