The Conference

• When you make your appointment for a conference,
  you will complete a form that lets the writing
  instructor know what parts of the essay you want
  to discuss.

• During the session, the writing instructor may
  ask you questions to help you think more
  critically about your response. However, you
  will ultimately be responsible for revising your
  draft.

• After you and the instructor review the
  strategies to improve your essay, you will record
  your revision plan on the conference form.

• The writing instructor will send the completed
  conference form to your classroom instructor so
  that s/he has a record of your visit and of the
  revisions you will make to your writing
  assignment.
