Considerazioni iniziali
    Savani e prof. Rinaldi
  • ci sembra molto creativo, interessante e
divertente sperando che il risultato finale
  • possa essere buono, anche per aiutarci allesame.

To Autumn (1819)
By John Keats
5
1 SEASON of mists and mellow fruitfulness, Close
bosom-friend of the maturing sun Conspiring
with him how to load and bless With fruit the
vines that round the thatch-eves run To bend
with apples the mossd cottage-trees, And fill
all fruit with ripeness to the core To swell
the gourd, and plump the hazel shells With a
sweet kernel to set budding more, And still
more, later flowers for the bees, Until they
think warm days will never cease, For Summer has
oer-brimmd their clammy cells.
dovizia? Talvolta chiunque cerchi può trovar Te a
sedere senza pensieri su dunaia, I tuoi capelli
mietuto a mezzo profondamente addormentato, Assopi
to dai fumi dei papaveri, mentre il tuo
falcetto Risparmia il prossimo mannello, e tutti
i suoi fiori E talvolta come uno spigolatore tu
2 Who hath not seen thee oft amid thy store?
Sometimes whoever seeks abroad may find Thee
sitting careless on a granary floor, Thy hair
soft-lifted by the winnowing wind Or on a
half-reapd furrow sound asleep, Drowsd with
the fume of poppies, while thy hook Spares the
next swath and all its twined flowers And
sometimes like a gleaner thou dost keep Steady
thy laden head across a brook Or by a
cyder-press, with patient look, Thou watchest
the last oozings hours by hours
7
3 Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are
they? Think not of them, thou hast thy music
too, While barred clouds bloom the soft-dying
day, And touch the stubble plains with rosy hue
Then in a wailful choir the small gnats mourn
Among the river sallows, borne aloft Or sinking
as the light wind lives or dies And full-grown
lambs loud bleat from hilly bourn
Hedge-crickets sing and now with treble soft
The red-breast whistles from a garden-croft
And gathering swallows twitter in the skies.
Dove sono i canti della Primavera? Sì, dove sono
essi?
muore E adulti agnelli belano forte dalle

Interpretation
John Keats descrive limportanza dellautunno
ed illustra con dettaglio le cose sorprendenti
che accadono in questa stagione. Trasforma
prodotto dello stesso autunno). Lautunno vuole
primavera.
John Keats describes autumns importance
illustrating the amazing things that take place
in this season. He transforms autumn into a soft
haired girl who doesnt recognize her beauty or
impact on nature. Keats tells us that the sun and
autumn are great friends. That they work together
in order to achieve the ripening of the fruit,
the opening of the flowers, and the plumping of
hazels. In stanza two Keats sees autumn as a
woman who cannot recognize her own individual
worth and has to be convinced of it. In stanza
three we discover that autumn has a character
flaw-insecurity or disregard of her own
abilities. Keats explains autumn is sitting on a
granary floor (meaning the ripened grain that is
stored in the granary is autumn) Autumn wants to
know where the songs of spring went and to me
this means autumn wants to know what happened to
the beauty and the marvels of spring.
