How are comets made?

• Comets are like a dirty snowball.
• Ice with dust, hydrogen, and other things held
  together by gravity.
• When it gets close to the Sun, it starts to melt
  giving off its tail of dust, hydrogen and plasma.
• A comets path can help cause meteor showers on
  Earth
• Comets can run out of ice and just become a
  meteor over time.
