Symptoms of Rabies in Humans
  • Irritability
  • Headache
  • Fever
  • Itching or pain at the sight of exposure
  • Convulsions
  • Delirium
  • Sometimes Death

Symptoms of Rabies In Animals
  • some animals may become depressed and retreat to
    isolated places
  • wild animals, especially skunks, may lose their
    fear of humans
  • animals may show signs of paralysis such as
    abnormal facial

    paralyzed hind limbs

  • animals may show extreme excitement and

Prevention of Rabies
  • Series of vaccine injections
  • Vaccinating pets that share your home
  • Encourage your children not to touch or feed
    stray animals
  • Shots mostly given to people who have jobs
    that are in high risk of coming in contact with
    animals that have or carry Rabies.

  • After symptoms of rabies begin, chances of
    survival are poor.

    days.
