• Began in Russia around 1910 by the artist
  Vladimir Tatlin.
• Because of the wars in Russia, many arts and
  artists moved to France, Britian, and eventually
  the U.S.

Post War Constructivism

• During the 1950s Constructivism thought could be
  seen in Minimalism and Brutalism.

• The most interesting recent developments in
  Constructivism have been in the field of
  architecture.
