Mission statement
The mission of the Centre de Bénévolat de la
Péninsule Acadienne is to work for the promotion
and facilitation for voluntary action and work to
the analysis of socio-community in its territory
and work to develop resources to meet those needs.

Counselors
This service advisors accompanying cases of
guardianship, independent living or children with
special needs, under the responsibility of the
Department of Family and Community Services.

Passage and Place of safety
This is a place for children, validate by the
Department of Family and Community Services -
Division Family and Community Social Services. It
is considered to be a place for children with
special needs and socio-emotional in a crisis
situation and prevention The Passage response
to another mandate and it is identified as a
place of safety to respond to the needs of young
people who may pose a risk to themselves or even
to others .

Independent Living Program
  • The program aims 
  • Promote the autonomy of participants enrolled in
    the program
  • Help the participant to meet its basic needs
    (washing, grocery, budget)
  • Help the participant to identify his problems and
    find solutions for its present and future life
  • Help the participant to know the different
    resources of his community
  • Contribute to its development.
  • This program is accredited by the Department of
    Family and Community Services Division Family and
    Community Social Services.

Home day
Mission The home day is to maintain and increase
the independence among seniors as well as
delaying their entry into institution. Goals and
objectives
  • Promote the improvement and maintenance of
    physical function, psychological and social
    requirements for daily activities and domestic.
  • Promote the maintenance of accommodation in the
    natural environment of person in addition to
    providing support to families and caregivers.

Counselors
This service advisors accompanying cases of
guardianship, independent living or children with

Home day
The program must enable a network of exchange,
prevention, intervention and education. The
activities of the Home stretch throughout the
Acadian Peninsula. Participants are referred by
the Department of Family and Community Services
and meet the criteria of the strategy of
long-term care in New Brunswick

This is a service of home care for people who
need assistance to remain at home.
  • Customers must be over 19 years and meet the
    criteria of the strategy of long-term care in New
    Brunswick.
  • Private service available.
  • Replacements / auxiliary have training accredited
    by the Department of Family and Community
    Services.
  • Services housekeeping, dishes, meals, laundry
    and floors, basic personal care, bathing and
    monitoring.
  • The service is offered throughout the Acadian
    Peninsula.

Warm meals
This program ensures the preparation and delivery
of hot meals to elderly clients who are referred
by the office of Tracadie-Sheila of the
Department of Family and Community Services
Division Family and Community Social Services
  • It takes more than 125 volunteers a year to
    deliver nearly 4,000 hot meals to the homes of
    the elderly.

Family resource Centre of Acadian Peninsula
The mission is to give the Acadian Peninsula a
resource center to support all families with
children 0 to 6 years in the territory.
  • Aims to equip parents and help them develop some
    parenting skills that will allow them to
    accompany their children in achieving their full
    potential family, social and school.
  • The programming includes postnatal sessions,
    communities kitchens, a library of books and
    videos, craft sessions, workshops, courses and
    special activities.
  • This program was established through the
    financial contribution of the Community Action
    Program for Children (CAPC) of Health Canada, in
    agreement with the Province of New Brunswick

family life.

    group).
  • Assistance program for employes an family.
  • Social assessments.
  • Domestic violence program (men, women and
    children).

The CBPA publishes a newsletter four times a
year. Specially for staff and our many partners,
this newsletter discusses the achievements of the
various initiatives and good news from our
organization. In addition, the Home Day produces
a newsletter to its volunteers while the
appropriate service informes theirs staff
through another newsletter lInfo SRA.

Community services
Depending on its capabilities and availability,
CBPA offers, through its programs and services,
training sessions and workshops on various
topics. During a year, our resources can deliver
more than fifty days of entertainment and
training.

Community services
The CBPA, in partnership with various government
agencies and community organizations, maintains
numerous initiatives within the community. Among
the best known include Je me prends en main,
Nouveau Départ !, Avenir jeunesse,
Initiative pour les travailleurs dusine, CEE
Transition. These initiatives allow the CBPA
to respond effectively, in keeping with its
mission, the various needs identified in its
territory.

Accompanying resources and environment
integration Employment
This program aims to integrate an active social
life in the community for the clients of the
correctional system. Employability of the
customer is the goal of the program.
  • In partnership with the Department of Family and
    Community Services / Programs and Support
    Services Revenue, Post-Secondary Education,
    Training and Labor and the Department of public
    safety of New Brunswick.

AmiSoleil
This program is designed primarily to meet the
basic needs of families and individuals who
reside in the region covered by the office of
Caraquet, the Department of Family and Community
Services / Programs and Services for income
support through the management a food bank and
clothing.

Our organization offers, as its ability and
availability, support for associations and
individuals in the community. Payroll, management
