• And Im worth it.
• Your dollar can feed.

• Just a dollar a day.
• Research has shown that.
• Common sense says that fruit doesnt grow in a

• Appeal to generally accepted conventions
• Tradition
• Common understandings
• Religion
• Cultural taboos

• Deep down, you know its right.
• Do the right thing.
• Naughty or nice?
• But you steal satellite signals

Choose your argument carefully

• Ethos only works if you use an authority
• Pathos only works in extreme situations
• Logos only works if the numbers make sense and
  are simple
• Mythos only works for cultural segments
