Attendance Policy
  • There are no excused absences.
  • To receive credit for this course, you must be
    present for 80 of the classes. This class meets
    twice a week you may miss 3 classes without
    being dropped.
  • If you are late for class 3 times, that counts as
    an absence. Late is defined as not being in
    class to respond to the initial role call.
  • If you miss class on a test day, you may make up
    that test in the Academic Support Center within
    one week. After one week, the make up test will
    be removed from the ASC. Make up tests may be the
    same version of the test given on the assigned
    test day or may be a different version of the
    test. The grade for a writing assignment will be
    lowered if it is late. Refer to the rubric for
    each assignment for details.
