• LUJNIKI STADIUM is the Olympic City built in the
  1957 for the training needs of the Soviet Olympic
  team
• In 1980 hosted the openning/clising Olympic
  events
• Occupies 145 hectares (180 with icluding parking
  facilities) in a two tube stops distance from the
  city center
• Features 140 sport facilities including main
  football arena, ice arena, athletics ground, game
  ground, swimming pool, tennis courts, training
  facilities and a skating rink all of which are
  managed by 3500 employees
