The Energy Coast Masterplan
Includes projects to secure the economic future
of West Cumbria and positively impact on the UKs
local, regional and national economies. Forecast
to create 16,000 jobs and add 700 million to
Cumbria's economic performance in terms of GVA
(Gross Value Added) Crucial in helping secure
the nations energy security and meeting the UKs
commitment to climate change. Will transform
West Cumbria into one of Britains fastest
growing sub regional economies and provide net
growth to the UK economy.
