of your jaw and neck muscles
A cut, puncture wound, bite, or any other wound
(small or large) can lead to a Tetanus
infection. Unless they have an immunity
to infection.

Scientific Facts
  • Tetanus is caused by the bacteria, Clostridium
    tetani.
  • This bacteria is common in in soils and in animal
    feces.
  • Some people only experience only pain and
    tingling at the wound site and some spasms in
    nearby muscles.
  • Called lockjaw because your jaw is one of the
    first places hit by spasms and eventually the
    rest of your body as well.
