General aims

• Create a strong partnership among European
  Digital Regions and European Regional networks
  for applied research and extensive deployment of
  the Information Society
• Collaborate with the European Commission efforts
  to increment the initiatives of local and
  regional actors in this field
• Support the goals and results of the IST
  programme by implementing an appropriate
  accompanying measure

• Prepare the grounds for the 6th Framework
  Programme of RTD of the EU
• Support eEurope 2005 and eEurope plus
• Favour clustering and cross-fertilisation among
  prime movers at local/regional level
• Ensure future sustainability of the project aims
  and results

How to collaborate

• Participating in the workshops that will be
  organised by the Digital Regions
• Joining a cluster for innovation in a specific
  digital area
• Organising your own workshop with the support of
  ELANET, eris_at_ or a Digital Region of the project
  for the creation or participation in a cluster
  for innovation (public-private partnership is
  essential)
