Title: MultiProfessional Team Work

1
Multi-Professional Team Work
  • Why.?
  • What.?

2
Development work at schools
  • by founding teams representing many sectors and
professions of school communities, developing the
work of those teams for implementing
    interventions for the schools
  • schools in Russia Murmansk School N3 and
  • Lovozero schools
  • schools in Finland Rovaniemi schools,
  • Sevettijärvi school

3
Why are we interested in multi-professional work?
  • a human being is holistic and the problems are
integrated and wide we cant make improvements
on the viewpoint of one profession
  • to make a contact with a human being - is it all
about how different professions will see his/her
    needs ?

4
Why. ?
  • to be an expert is easily monology (because of
    our power of expertice)
  • although we have assumed client / learner
orientation way of working, it can be only
rhetorical expression if interaction is not
understood as two-way process between persons

5
Dialogue
  • Dia-logos means that which is between us it is
more than mere listening or a coming together it
is a space that forms between us, a space
    enabling new knowledge.
  • Dialogue means sensibility for basis of the
    other person

6
What?
  • multi-professional work is a new kind of
expertice, which is not possible for us by
working around the same table, but
  • well need shared development and learning
processes in which our own expertise will be
    shared between others

7
What ?
  • as every participant in the discussion has his /
her own point of view and interpretations, the
thoughts that others have can function as
landscapes in which each person can situate his
or her interpretations in turn. The resulting
polyphony becomes a resource for interpretations
    and action.

8
The Principles of the Project
  • social and cultural sustainability
  • that the conditions necessary for well-being
are transferred from one generation to the next
  • communality
  • participation
  • empowerment
  • EXPERTISE SHOULD BE SEEN
  • AS A COMMUNAL RESOURCE
