Homework Policy
  • Study Skills Each Day
  • Homework Planner
  • To be used every day
  • Means of communication
  • Each child will receive one homework pass each
    nine-weeks to be used on any daily homework
    assignment for any teacher.

Homework Policy-continued
  • When an assignment is missed, the child will miss
    recess that day to complete the missing
    assignment.
  • 3 missing assignments a homework notice will be
    sent home to the parents to be signed and
    returned to school.
  • 4 missing assignments another homework notice
    will be sent home, and the student will also
    receive an after-school detention.
  • 6 missing assignments a homework notice will be
    sent home, an after-school detention will be
    assigned, and social privileges (i.e. nine-week
    party) will be revoked.

Classroom Expectations
  • Each fifth grade teacher expects students to
  • Listen and follow directions.
  • Complete all assignments on time.
  • Be prepared for each class.
  • Be respectful to others and their property.
  • Always try their best!

Discipline Policy
  • 1. Verbal warning
  • 2. Child misses recess and a behavior notice is
    sent home.
  • 3. Child misses recess, and a behavior notice and
    after-school detention are assigned.
  • 4. Child misses recess, a behavior notice is
    sent home, and social privileges are revoked
    (i.e. nine week parties). Principal intervention
    may occur.
