    personnel, except NAF personnel.

  • Civilian Pay Volume 8
  • Travel Pay Volume 9
  • Analyze and interpret statutory, regulatory and
    administrative policy issues, rendering final and
    authoritative decisions.

Disbursing and Debt Policy Division
  • Develop and promulgate standard policy for
    Disbursing, Relief of Liability, and Debt
    Management.
  • Publish DoD FMRs for
  • Disbursing Volume 5
  • Ensure Debt policy is standard across all volumes
    of the FMRs
  • Process and adjudicate Relief of Liability cases
    for losses of funds and removal of deficiencies.
  • Maintain liaison with Treasury for Cash
    Management Initiatives and implementation of the
    Government-Wide Accounting Modernization Program.
  • Provide liaison with Treasury for DoD Disbursing
    Offices, maintain DoD Disbursing Station Symbol
    Number (DSSN) database, and process Disbursing
    Officer appointments.

  • OSD mandate for all volumes to be updated within
    a 2-year cycle.
  • Comprises 20 volumes 12 DFAS responsibility.
  • During 2006, 61 DFAS chapters were updated and
    published.
  • During 2007, remaining chapters are being updated.

    relationships.

    disputed claims.
