  • A podcasting and audio blogging that offers an
    easy way to create and distribute audio content

What do I do?
  1. Create an account http//www.gabcast.com/index.php
    ?aregister
  2. Log in to Gabcast
  3. Add a New Channel
  4. Record your telephone call and save recording
  5. Download
  6. Plop into Blackboard 7 Podcasting

Create Account / Login
  • Fill out information (those highlighted are
    required)
  • Click Submit .then
  • Log in

Create a channel
  • Click Create a new channel
  • Type in a title/ description
  • Assign a numeric password
  • Select category, keywords, etc.
  • Click SUBMIT

Channel
  • Once channel has been created
  • Click My Channels

Ready, Set, Go!
From any telephone .. Dial into the 800 number
(see below) .. You will be prompted for channel
number and password .. Follow the prompts to
record and publish

What now?
  • Notate channel number and password
  • Dial 800 number
  • Record
  • Press 2 to publish to your Gabcast website
    account

Now What?
  1. Log into your Gabcast account
  2. Select My Channels
  3. Locate your recording
  4. Save to a location on your computer
  5. Post into Blackboard

Step 1 and 2
  • Log in
  • Select My Channels

Step 3 Locate your recording
  • Click your recording
  • Then click the click to subscribe button

Select feed option
  • Click on the RSS Clients button

Step 4 Save Recording
  • Right click the recording (mp3 file)
  • Save location
  • (I saved mine to the Desktop)
