• One in three women and one in five men will be
  sexually assaulted in her/his lifetime.
• Half of all women are beaten at one time in their
  life, one forth on a regular basis.
• Pregnancy is a high-risk time for abuse to either
  begin or increase
• Over 25 million children under the age of 11 live
  in homes where they are sexually abused.
