Advice to 1Ls
  • Charlie Time Management and exam preparation are
by far the most important aspects of doing well
in law school. You should manage your time as
closely as possible to allow for class
    preparation, outside reading, exam preparation,
as well as normal things- whatever helps you
relax. Exam preparation should consist of
    outlining, writing practice answers, making
flashcards, and whatever else you deem effective.
  • Ross Organize your time. Plan, structure, stay
on top of your stuff. Do outlines ahead of time.
  • Chase Have a written weekly schedule and follow
it. Find a good study group early and meet at
least once a week. Constantly update outlines.

4
  • Avriel - Time management is the key. Keep up with
outlining if you save outlining till the end,
there is not enough time to study. Also, be wary
of outlines passed down from upper classmen.
  • Michael Time management is probably the most
important thing. Make sure your outlines are 100
    ready, before you begin studying.
  • Amy Dont panic! Early in the semester, map out
all your course deadlines through exams. Create a
schedule and follow it religiously. Review your
notes, and think about the concepts before class.
Keep updating your outlines each week.
