Maryland PreVIEW

• Designed to meet and exceed CVISN Level 1
  requirements for CVIEW processing and roadside
  pre-screening and enforcement
• Multi-state data repository with automated
  interfaces to collect data for registered
  commercial carriers on
• Credentialing, including IFTA, IRP, intrastate
  and oversize/overweight permits
• Safety information
• Inspection summary from SAFER
• Used by Maryland commercial vehicle inspectors to
  determine if trucks passing through a weigh
  station (or trucks screened on Maryland highways
  by mobile enforcement) should be stopped for
  further inspection.

Maryland PreVIEW

• In Phase 1, PreVIEW incorporated data from the
  following systems SAFER, MIRP, HVRS and IFTA
• In Phase 2, the system incorporated additional
  data from the following systems AHPS
• Cooperative multi-agency effort involving SHA -
  Motor Carrier Division, MDOT, MVA, Comptroller's
  Office, MSP (CVED) and MdTAP (CVSU)
• ACS selected as PreVIEW vendor through
  competitive RFP process

  address, statistics, safety data, credential
  data, violations and licensing and insurance
