Title: CompuArchive
1CompuArchive
- Asbestos Survey and Audit Management
2MANAGEMENT
- Compunetex is offering solutions to Asbestos
management through an online system called
CompuArchive. - This is a modular system that can work in various
ways to make the storage and handling of Asbestos
surveys and registers easy for both our client
and end user. - The system is managed and viewed online, it is
user friendly and has full mobile PDA integration
making it easy to update or view anywhere
provided there is internet access. - Data backups are taken every week and the system
itself is backed up regularly so there should be
no down time on the server side. - Secure user logins enable managers complete
access to the database via the management system
and viewers partial access to view the completed
data. - CompuArchive does away with the need to keep all
the paper records filed correctly and stored
where it can be used if a record is needed.
CompuArchive can store data and display it
easily, more than one person can be viewing the
same survey over the internet at the same time so
discussion can take place. The surveys can be
downloaded, printed out, or emailed as they are
stored in PDF format. - All data in the databases will be made available
in a computer usable format for use in any other
application if CompuArchive is no longer
required.
3Why choose CompuArchive?
- CompuArchive gives surveyors the opportunity to
offer their clients options to view all survey
and register audits online. This would not take
the place of a paper copy but would be in
addition. A service/ management fee can be
charged for this. - Mobile Technology is part of the management
package Compuarchive, and works extremely well
with the Pocket Surfer. This is an independent
mobile device which has a 1 year free Internet
connection via mobile phone contractors. It
enables any survey or sample to be called up and
even audited online there and then via the PDA .
Surveys and sample data can be emailed to the
contractors computer. The Pocket Surfer can not
print directly unless connected to a printer. - All surveys are kept in one place and take up
much less space than an organised room or filing
cabinet. - Surveys can be found easily as there are client,
date and location searches as well as a very
useful view all feature. - All domains and sub domains are registered for
two years. - The package includes 1 main user and 9 client
users, each will have its own management system
and database thus one client cannot view surveys
from another client. The management system
remains with the surveyor the viewing side is for
the client.
4How does the system work?
- CompuArchive enables any asbestos survey to be
entered into the online database system via a
management system. It can be managed online by
the surveyor. - Data of the original survey is entered to give
the client the convenience of viewing it online. - The client can login using the username and
password issued for the system. The client may
prefer to use the mobile viewing section and
select to login to the PDA section.

specific date is the view all menu which shows
you all surveys listed on the system. - Log Out returns you to the main menu.
- NOTE If this is a single clients system clients
search will not be useful as all the entries will
be of the same client name.
7Results
- All surveys add to the system which have the same
date will appear in this result list for the date
search. - If no records show it would mean that there are
no entered details under that date, try search
for the location or even easier select view all - By clicking on the download button you
should see the original survey in PDF format.
This uses
ADOBE reader to open it and enables you to view
it, email it and save it. Opening it may take a
few seconds as some surveys have lots of pages so
please be patient as they open. - By clicking on the view sample data link will
bring up a page listing the details of the survey
and showing all the samples which are connected
to the survey.
