- Lessons learned concerning financial management
- Questions and changes need to be negotiated
beforehand between partner and lead partner as
well as lead partner and JTS - Rules have to be strictly followed only
appropriately audited costs can be included in
the LPs report to JTS - Clear allocation of Lakepromo meeting costs to
components (in direct relation to the time spent
per CP) - Accurate reporting by partners (correct figures)
- Auditors (external and internal) must familiarize
themselves to the INTERREG IIIC budget line
principles, component division and timing -gt to
be able to catch up possible mistakes - Lead partner has to check partner reports
thoroughly at once and ask everything that is
unclear -gt at least the next version of a partner
report will be the final one - Corrections have to be done promtly

- Partner 10 (The Budapest University of Technology
and Economics) has requested for drop out
Lakepromo partnership due to troubles with their
financial management. - - Budget around 40 500 ERDF-financed part
left (total budget - 54 000 , 25 co-financing)
- Description of expertise The Department of
Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering to be
involved in this project has long been
coordinated and/or contributed to lake projects
both in Hungary and abroad (Finland, Austria,
Cambodia) on hydro- and sediment dynamics, water
level control, littoral-pelagic zone interaction,
habitat, restoration and management issues. - It is suggested that the remaining budget and
tasks will be shifted to another
Lakepromo-partner (Estonian partner? also a new
EU-country)

- The shift should be done as soon as possible to
avoid more underspending! - The official Request for Change documents,
including a new co-financing statement should be
sent to the Joint Technical Secretariat of

specific items will arise during this latter part
of Lakepromo

- STRATEGIC FOCUS of Component 2 (The
information-packages, data analysis) - To gather present knowledge and former
experiences in the field of water management and
restoration procedures from partner regions and
to report this information in a structured,
easily comparable manner thus give the basis
for further co-operative projects - - Original timeframe until the end of June 2006
-gt the lead partner has requested for some
additional time until the end of December 2006

- Country-specific packages in English are almost
all ready (Hungarian package will be published
soon) - In native languages ? The lead partner will need
two copies of each publication. - German partners will not publish their
information package in German, because another
quite similar publication in Germany - DWA-Regelwerk (2006) Maßnahmen der Seentherapie.
Merkblatt DWA-M 606, 104 S, in Vorbereitung. - It is suggested that they provide an overview in
German of the example of their pilot setting and
translate the joint summary manual in German - - Joint Summary Manual will be prepared by the
lead partner during summer (additional time for
component 2 has been requested and received until
the end of 2006)

from the experiences in each target area (at
least 8), which will be summarized in a manual of

on (1) P and N stripping techniques and (2) the
use of faecal source tracking as a means to
assess the effects of different sewage treatment

- In Finland approximately one million residents
and over one million vacationers locate beyond
the reach of municipal sewer networks. A
significant portion of their wastewater treatment
systems will need improvements during the coming
years according to the requirements given in the
new Government Decree on Treating Domestic
Wastewater in Areas Outside Sewer Networks
(542/2003). - Information package in English will be gained
