Types of Student ID

• Provisional (which is valid for 60 days)
• Mostly given to exchange students
• Permanent
• Students who stay here for more than a term
• validated in the autumn semester valid till
  31st of March
• validated in the spring semester valid till
  31st of October.

Application

• At Quaestura Office
• Two passport photos (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm black and
  white photos with a light background)
• HUF 1950 two postal orders
• Your passport

Register at faculty, than go to Quaestura Office

• Step 1
• First, register at the university, enrol for the
  term.
• Step 2
• Go to Quaestura Central Office (ELTE map no3)
• with the required documents
• Fill out the application form of permanent
  Student ID.
• Ask for a provisonal Student ID.

• Step 3
• Pay the postal order at post office
• Step 4
• If you applied for a Permanent Student ID as well
  go to Quaestura Office after 2 months. If you
  have a provisional Student ID validate it every 2
  months.

• Now your provisional Student ID is valid for 60
  days
• Your Permanent Student ID is valid
• march 31 (validated in prev. autumn)
• october 31 (validated in prev. march)

In case of lossPlease sign the loss at local
government you live at

• If you loose the Permanent Student ID
• Go to Quaestura Office and apply for a new one
  (remember you will have to pay the application
  fee 1600 HUF again)
• If you loose Provisional Student ID
• Go to Quaestura office pay the fee of loosing
  it (1800 HUF) and apply for a new one.
