Figure 2. Density of states for ZrW2O8 at T300
K measured using inelastic neutron scattering.
For lt40 meV we used a time of flight
spectrometer with Ei5 meV. For gt40 meV
we used a triple axis spectrometer with a
polycrystalline Be filter analyser. Inset shows
the structure with WO4 tetrahedra in red and ZrO6
octahedra in blue.
